Personal Details & Privacy Policy
When ordering an item, you are requested to provide your personal
details. Customers must provide their true name, phone number,
e-mail address and other requested information as indicated.
Should any of your personal details change, please notify
us immediately. For your security and privacy, all personal details
are captured through the secure PayPal payments processing
system. Jewellery Box do not pass customer details to any
third parties.
Orders
Orders of all goods are subject to acceptance
and availability. Jewellery Box offers goods for sale that are
available for dispatch from our current stock supply. Prices
displayed on the site are in GBP. The
GBP price of goods displayed on the website will be honoured
at the time the order is accepted. Purchases made from outside
the UK, will incur carriage costs and any duties levied by
the authority to which you have specified delivery. For overseas
customers the final price will be calculated on the day your
bank or credit card company, in accordance with the applicable
exchange rate, processes the
transaction.
You will receive an email acknowledging the details of your order, once
your order has been placed. This email is NOT an acceptance
of your order. Acceptance of your order and completion of the
contract between you and Jewellery Box will be confirmed when
we ship the goods to you, (unless you cancel your order in
accordance with our Cancellation Procedure below). In the event,
that we are unable to gain authorisation for payment or if
goods ordered are out of stock or do not satisfy our quality
control standards and are withdrawn or if you do not meet the
eligibility criteria set-out in this website, we reserve the
right not to accept your order. In addition, Jewellery Box
may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or decline
service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. Jewellery
Box will not be legally responsible to you or any third party
by reason of our withdrawing any goods from the Site whether
or not those goods have been sold; removing or editing any
materials/content on the Site; refusing to process a transaction or suspending
any transaction after processing has started.
We pride ourselves on putting customer satisfaction
first. If you would like to amend or cancel your
order please email or telephone us stating your
wish to amend or cancel your order. If the goods have already been
dispatched then you must follow the returns process.
Payments
Payment
will be processed using
PayPal. This is a secure online payment gateway that encrypts
your card details in a secure host environment. Your credit
card details are not held on the Jewellery Box website or on
our customer database. In the absence of negligence on our
part we cannot be held legally responsible
for any loss you may experience if a third party procures unauthorised
access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering goods
from the Jewellery Box Site.
Returns
Due to hygiene reasons, it is not possible to accept returns
on earrings unless they are faulty. If you wish to return other
items, then please notify us by email or telephone to notify
us. Once we agree to the return, please send the unused
item or items to us in their original condition, with their
original packaging and with all the original labelling attached
within 7 days of receipt. PLEASE NOTE: Unused means that
there are no marks on the item, any wear on the item and
all tags/labels are fully attached and intact. We do not
sell used items and will not accept any item with any indication
that it was used. In such cases, the item will be returned
to the purchaser at the purchaser's cost. Please telephone

or refunds. The item is your responsibility until it reaches
us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the
parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the
value of the goods and provides proof of posting. We will
provide the address to which the items should be returned
when you contact us. Jewellery Box is not responsible
for any item that is not returned in the manner set forth
above. Any items returned outside the 7-day time frame are
accepted at the discretion of Jewellery Box.
Refunds to you will be made within 30 days of the date of
receipt of the returned item. Where returns are due to non-faulty
goods, a return processing fee may be charged. This will be advised
when you contact us about the return.
Jewellery Box will endeavour to dispatch all orders within 3 working days,
however, please allow up to 7 days for delivery as external
factors may cause delays. Your order will be shipped once payment
has been approved and the delivery/billing address has been
verified.
All prices on the web are correct at the time of entering
the information onto the system. Jewellery Box respects the privacy
rights of its online visitors and recognises the importance
of protecting the information collected about them. If you
are under 18, we require that you notify a parent or guardian
about Jewellery Box's Privacy Policy as well as requiring their
consent to the Privacy Policy prior ordering online. The following
